Everything was awesome,
The band, The SD crew, the sound, the venue, the crowd, Everything.
My daughter Morgan was in total awe.
From the second they dimmed the lights and played the song they walked on stage to, she had a smile on her face the whole time.
She got a set list that everyone but Mike signed, we were in the wrong place to meet Mike, but she was so happy just to be there she was only a little dissapointed, she said, next time dad, we'll meet him.
She got the best impression and most attention from Charlie Quintana. He talked with her for quite a while, super nice guy.
Danny, the piano player, was with Charlie as well and talked with her a little bit as he signed her set list.
Johnny 2 bags was super polite and shook her hand and said " very nice to meet you Morgan, did you have a good time? "as he signed and spoke with us a few.
We got to hang out with Chopper Donny quite a bit too. he plays peddle steel with Tiger Army, and I have to say, very well, he gets that thing cryin'for sure.
So, yeah, just a great night in all, couldn't be happier.
Thank you Social Distortion and crew.

Its great that you were able to get Morgan into the show. It must have been a Kodak moment for sure when you told her that you were going to be able to get her in after the initial disapointment. Would you say it was Abfab?

How awesome it is for some to meet SD whereas I haven't.
But a couple let-downs about the Denver show: Show ended abruptly at 11pm when I had hoped it would go on til 12 am or so.
Then again, it was a 16+ over show - ugh.
And I wanted to buy a SD tot tee for my friend's one-year old boy. The SD tee was $20 ---can't SD bring the price down?
Otherwise, I finally saw Reno Divorce at friend Tyson's bar Benders Tavern with the very cool Johhny Cash mural on the side -after the Railbenders performed as RAILMONES to do a small tribute the Ramones. (If anyone cares, I work for Railbenders as their merch chick, and their MUSIC rocks!!!)

I can't believe I went to the SxDx show and missed the chance to hang out with all the little clowns next door. Ok, just kidding. I thought the show was great. Ness's guitar could have been a little louder in the mix, but I think that is the best I have ever heard 2 Bags sound. I think it was the same set list as the last few shows, was glad to see so many of the new songs played.
Stressica,
Yeah, That show at Benders was fun one. We love that club. Tyson is cool as hell.
Stratt,
Was that funny or what?
The clowns down the street in reference to ICP.
Great Line...he goes, " I just don't get that shit".
Opening line from Mike:
" How ya'll doin'? got a red hot show for you tonight, red hot"
Then into " Let's do this motherfucker! "
Fucking awesome! I haven't checked in with this board in a while, but I remember when Reno told us how his daughter wasn't allowed in. GREAT news that things changed and she got to see the greatest band in the world. (Okay, Green Day is amazing, but live they just can't beat SxDx...but that's because SxDx still plays in clubs, which makes their shows fucking supreme!!!) Anyway, soooo glad she got in and that Reno was there with her. Let's hope they swing by all our areas this winter/spring so we can see 'em a couple of more times.

And you can call me Johnny if ya want.
Reno Divorce is the name of our band.

Drove up from ABQ to see the show for my wife's birthday. They sounded every bit as good as they did in ABQ, but the Fillmore is MUCH nicer than the Sunshine here in town. We had a really good time!
